I normally go to a vape shop in Grapevine, so when I saw a new vape shop open near my home, I was excited. However, that excitement dwindled quickly.I took my normal brand bottle in to show the salesperson what I normally use: an 18mg Tigers Blood, not salt-based. I asked if he had that or something similar. The closest thing they had was a strawberry mango 25mg salt base, but I'm not a fan of salt base at all. It dries out your mouth, gives bad breath, is harsher on the lungs, has a chemical taste, and even though it's labeled as 25mg, I seem to be drawing on it three times more than my 18mg from the other shop, which suggests it might be underrated nicotine or the other shop is overrated. Either way, this new vape fluid is much harsher chemically.Then, my final issue: the price. My normal shop sells a 30ml bottle for $12 or 4 for $40. This one bottle, which is harsher and I draw on three times more, was $20. Almost double the price for a weaker, chemical-tasting product. If you're looking to switch to vaping, trust me, this is not the place you want to start. Find a non-salt base product elsewhere, and you'll be much happier and save money.
